This week me and Christer have been doing some sound recording. We have also done render tests of entire shots this week, so that we could have a look if there was anything wrong and correct those things if needed.
This week I have done more particle & smoke effects as well as continuing with the render tests.
This week I have been doing some render tests of some of the different scenes as well as continuing with some of the particle and smoke effects. Will continue to do render tests and work on the particle and smoke effects this and next week.
This week i finished of the displacement maps I was working on last week. I went on to working on some particle effects for some of the different scenes, I suspect I will spend this week and next week on this. The scenes Ill be focusing on this week is a scene in the apprentice room with some dust falling from the roof, as well as some smoke for the wizard study room. Screens shots will be put up when I have the time for it.
This week I have been working on making displacement maps for our outside scene and out servant room scene. We choose to go with displacement maps so we can cut down the amount of object in the scene. The maps I am making will be for the walls of the room and hallway and for the tower walls. due to the high amount of stones we want to have covering the walls.And I hope to be done with this mid next week.
This week has been devoted to texturing and more or less only texturing. We focused on getting the wizard study-room finished so Kjell could start lighting it as soon as possible. It’s also the easter holiday so we had a couple of days off near the end of the week.
This week we tried finishing up all of the modelling as best we could, and I believe we made it. Of course there will probably be minor tweaks here and there but for the most part we are done. So now all we need to do is texture everything next week. Screenshots of some of the stuff will come along at a later point.
This week i put the dog away for a bit to do some of the more dire things for the film, Most of the week had gone to modelling interior for the different scenes. I’ve mostly been modelling props. So basically this week has just been a whole lot of modelling. Next week we will hopefully be done with modelling and start texturing
